Flights: Arrive in Guwahati by 12:00 hrs on 27 December. The group vehicle leaves the airport at 13:00 hrs. Book the return flight after 18:00 hrs on 2 January.

Baggage allowance: 15 kg check-in and 7 kg cabin baggage. Onboard meals are not included.

Passenger names must exactly match the government-issued photo ID.

Safari timings and elephant-safari allocation are controlled by the forest department and may change.

Late December is the dry season. Waterfall volume may be low.

Shillong mornings and evenings may be around 6–8 °C. Kaziranga will also feel cold during the early safari. Carry warm layers and suitable walking shoes.

Road and weather conditions may require sightseeing to be reordered. Mobile connectivity may be limited in the hills.

Vehicle AC may remain switched off in the hills or during cold weather.

Kamakhya darshan is subject to temple procedures, operating conditions and waiting time. Priority or queue-free darshan is not guaranteed.

This departure operates with a minimum of 10 guests. The go / no-go decision is confirmed by 12 November 2026.

If the operator cancels the departure solely due to insufficient participation, all amounts paid by the guest, including airfare, will be refunded within 14 working days. No additional compensation will be payable.

The itinerary may change for weather or operational reasons; no refund is due for services unused as a result.

Can the dates or sightseeing be changed? No. This is a fixed escorted departure; the group moves together. A private version on other dates can be quoted.

Which meals are included? Breakfast and dinner at the hotels. Lunches are open, so sightseeing isn't tied to a set stop.

What vehicle is used? One dedicated air-conditioned group vehicle throughout, with a tour escort from arrival to departure.

Is it suitable for families and seniors? Yes, with one early start on safari day. Cherrapunjee and Laitlum involve uneven paths; the cave can be skipped.

What if the elephant safari isn't allotted? A second jeep safari is provided in its place at no extra cost. No refund applies.

Is travel insurance included? No – and it is strongly recommended for a winter hill departure.
